A deck of twenty-four cards, each with one line printed on it, plus an extra card that is blank for the thing we didn’t think of. You hand a card to someone you’re interested in, instead of trying to say it out loud and not have the words. One card, one person.
-
One line each. Short, direct, deliberately not clever. We’re not showing the full list. The lines are the product, and reading them all on a screen isn’t the same as holding one in your hand at the moment you need it. The back of every card has a Stem, which is where your contact info goes.
-
First Seeds are for someone you’ve never spoken to. Old Bloom is for someone you met once or twice and then lost to silence. Different nerve, different lines. Both are in the deck.
-
It’s a say-something product. Most people will use t on someone they’re attracted to. Some won’t. We’re not policing it.
-
Yes.
-
The one thing you need to say that we didn’t think of. Write it. That card is always yours.
-
No. That’s the design. Hand it over, and let the card do the work. If you want to say something, say something. The card just means you don’t have to.
-
Then it doesn’t land, and you know, and you get to stop wondering. That’s not the failure case. The failure case is the ride home three weeks from now, still running the conversation you didn’t have.
One rule: read the room. A card is an offer, not a demand. If someone’s working, cornered, or clearly not interested, that’s your answer, and the right move is to leave it alone. Handing someone a card should make their day more interesting, not less comfortable. That’s the difference between nerve and pressure, and it’s the only thing this deck asks of you.
-
Flip the card over. The back has a Stem, which is space for your name and social media handle. A handle is safer to trade than a number, and it still lets them find you, but it’s ultimately up to you.
Whatever you share, write it in before you hand the card over. -
Yes. Do five or six, or all, at once, at home, with a pen you’ve already tested on the stock. Hunting for a pen in the moment is how the moment gets away from you.
Being ready before you need to be is most of the product.
-
Eco herbage paper stock, 2.5” square, in a tuck box.
-
The cards are an uncoated eco stock, so ink soaks into the paper instead of sitting on top of it. A fine-point ballpoint or a fine permanent marker handles that best. Gel and rollerball pens can feather slightly on a natural stock like this one.
Test one card before you fill in a handful. Every pen behaves a little differently on uncoated paper, and it’s better to find that out at your kitchen table than in a bar. The same goes for the blank card.
